What is GST Registration?

GST (Goods & Services Tax) Registration is the process by which a business or individual obtains a unique GSTIN (GST Identification Number) from the Government of India. Once registered, you can legally collect GST from customers, claim Input Tax Credit (ITC) on purchases, and file GST returns.

GST is a unified indirect tax that replaced VAT, Service Tax, Excise Duty, and several other levies. Introduced on 1st July 2017, it follows a destination-based taxation system applicable across India. A 15-digit GSTIN is issued state-wise for every registered taxpayer.

At TechStar Business Solution, we handle the entire GST registration process — from document collection and form filling to Aadhaar authentication and GSTIN issuance — so you can focus on growing your business.
